The Director's Message/የዳይሬክተሩ መልዕክት

የሰማይንና የምድርን ፈጣሪና ጌታ እግዚአብሔር አምላክን ማወቅና ማገልገል ለሰው ልጅ የምድር ወሰን ዘመንና ዕድሜ ትልቁ ትሩፋት ፣ስኬትና ዕድለኛነት ነው፡፡ ሰው የተፈጠራው በእግዚአብሔር መልክና ምሳሌ ነው፡፡ ፈጣሪውን ማወቅና ለእርሱ ዕውቅና መስጠት ለሰው ሕይወት ትርጉምን ይሰጣል፡፡ ሕይወት ትርጉም የሚያገኘው ሰው በምድር ላይ በሚያፈራው ሀብት ብዛት፤ በሚወልዳው ልጆች ብዛት፤ በትምህርቱ ልህቀት በሚሰበስባቸው እውቀት ብዛት፤ በሚይዘው የሥልጣን ወንበር ትልቅነት ወይም በሌላም ሰዎች በጣም ብዙ ስፍራና ዋጋ በመስጠት በሚዋደቁለት እንደ ጥላ በሚያልፈው ምድራዊ ስኬት አይደለም፡፡ ነገር ግን የሰው ልጅ ህይወት ትርጉም የሚያገኘው የሕይወት ራስ በሆነው በክርስቶስ ኢየሱስ ነው፡፡ ጌታችንና መድኃኒታችን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ራሱ በዮሐንስ 14፡6 እኔ መንገድና እውነት ሕይወትም ነኝ በእኔ በቀር ወደ አብ የሚመጣ የለም፡፡ እንዲሁ በዮሐንስ 10፡10… እኔ ሕይወት እንዲሆንላቸው እንዲበዛላቸውም መጣሁ፡ ብሏል፡፡ ሰው ኢየሱስ ሕይወት መሆኑን የሚገነዘበው እርሱን ወስኖ መከተል ሲጀምር ነው፡፡ እርሱን ወስነው ከተከተሉ ደቀ መዛሙርት፡ መካከል እንደ ምሳሌ ሐዋሪያው ዮሐንስ ፣ ሐዋሪያው ጴጥሮስና ሐዋሪያው ጳውሎስ በመልዕክቶች ብናነብ ኢየሱስ ሕይወት እንደሆነ ቀምሰውና አይተው ማረጋገጣቸውን ለማየት አንቸገርም፡ ይህም ለትምህርታችን ተጽፎልናል፡፡ ጴጥሮስ በዮሐ 6፡68 …ጌታ ሆይ ወደ ማን እንሄዳለን; አንተ የዘላለም ሕይወት ቃል አለህ ...አለ ፡፡ በየሐዋ ሥራ 3፡ 15 ደግሞ … የሕይወትንም ራስ ገደላችሁት ብሎአል ፡፡ በፊልጲስዮስ 1፡21 ሐዋሪያው ጳውሎስ ”ለእኔ ሕይወት ክርስቶስ፡ ነው …” ብሎአል፡፡ በ 1ዮሐ 1፡2. “ሕይወትም ተገለጠ አይተንማል፤ እንመሰክርማለን …” ብሎአል ዮሐንስ፡፡ 1የሐ 5፡11-12 ደግሞ በሌላ ስፍራ ” እግዚአብሔርም የዘላለምን ሕይወት እንደሰጠን ይህም ሕይወት በልጁ እንዳለ ምስክሩ ይህ ነው፡፡ ልጁ ያለው ሕይወት አለው የእግዚአብሔር ልጅ የሌለው ሕይወት የለውም፡፡” ብሏል፡፡ ሰው ክርስቶስን ሲጠጋ/ ስቀርብ አንድ የሚያረጋግጠው እውነት ኢየሱስ ሕይወት መሆኑንና የሕይወት ትርጉም ሰጪ መሆኑን ነው፡፡

እንግዲህ ግሎባል ዲሳይፕልስ ይህንን ሕይወት የሆነውን ክርስቶስን ሰዎች የማወቅ መብታቸውንና እድላቸውን ተጠቅመው ከእርሱ ጋር እውነተኛ የወዳጅነት ኪዳን በማደስ እርሱን የሕይወታቸው መሪ ጌታና ንጉሥ አድርገው እንድኖሩ ይናፍቃል፡፡ የገባቸውንም እውነት ደግሞ ለሌሎች በማካፈል የሚባዛና የሚብዛዛ ሕይወት እንዲመሩ ለማገዝ የሚሽንና የደቀ መዝሙርነት፡ የመሪነትና የአነስተኛ ሥራ ፈጠራ ስልቶች በመጠቀም ከቤተ ክርስትያናት ጥምረቶች ጋር በአጋርነት ይሠራል፡፡ የወንጌል ተልዕኮ የተሰጣት የሥራው ግንባር ቀደምት ተዋናይ የሆነችው ቤተ ክርስቲያን እንደሆነች ግሎባል ዲሳይፕልስ ያምናል፡፡ ስለዚህም በወንጌል ያልተደረሱ ህዝቦች ማለትም ከማኅበረሰቡ ከ2% በታች የወንጌል አመኞች ባሉባቸው አከባቢዎች የሚሰሩ የወንጌል አማኝ ቤተ ክርስቲያናት ሦሥትና ከዚያ በላይ ለወንጌሉ ሥራ ተጣምረውና ተቀናጅተው ሲመጡ አብረን በመሥራት በምንችለው አቅጣጫ ሁሉ ድጋፍ እየሰጠን እንገኛለን፡፡ የአገሩን ሰርዶ በአገሩ በሬ የሚለውን መርህ በመከተል ቤተ ክርስቲያናትና ክርስቲያን ባለሀብቶች ለአከባቢያቸው መደረስ የጎላ ድርሻ አላቸው፡፡ ፍላጎቱና ራዕዩ ያላችሁ ሁሉ ኑና አብረን እንሥራ፡፡

Message from the Director

To know, recognize & serve the creator & the sovereign Lord of the heavens & the earth in this temporary & limited earthly life is a great privilege, opportunity, true success, and true blessing. Human beings are created by God’s image & likeness. Knowing/ recognizing Him gives a meaning to their life. Without Him life does not get a real meaning. It is true that any earthly possession, having many children, earning academic achievements or occupying higher positions or any other earthly achievements do not give a true meaning for life. The human life gets true meaning by Christ Jesus who is called the prince of life. Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself says” I am the way, the truth & the life.” (John 14:6). He also said “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10). When people follow Jesus with determination they will understand that Jesus is life who give eternal life. The disciples of Jesus Christ who followed Him with determination tested; seen & confirmed that Jesus is the true life. Here we will see just three pioneering apostles: Peter, Paul & John. In John 6:68 Peter said “Lord to whom we shall go? Thou hast the word of eternal life.” In Acts 3: 15 “And you killed the prince of life”. Paul also said “for to me to live be Christ.” Philippians 1:21. Apostle John said “for the life was manifested & we have seen it, & bear witness.” In 1John 5:11-12 he also that God has given to us eternal life, & this life in his son. He that has life; & he that has not the son of God has not life. These verses clearly show us that a person who come closer to Jesus & build intimate relationship with Jesus would testify that Jesus is real who offers eternal life, a life with abundance.

Global Disciples Ethiopia desires every human being to restore their covenant with God by using their rights & opportunities of knowing & following Jesus as personal savior, Lord, and true life giving king. We work with clusters of churches through mission - discipleship, leadership development & small business developments strategies to help the body of Christ. We believe that the church must carry the pioneering agent of God that is mission. We play a supporting role in reaching the unreached/ least reached people groups/ areas. We believe that using the local contextual & close proximity for the mission work is worthy way of reaching the least reached for Christ. Any interested churches & Christian business men & women who would like to work in partnership with Global Disciples are very welcomed.
